Annual General Meeting, 25th March 1895

This is the oldest set of Mallerstang Parish Meeting Minutes that we have. On that occasion the Chairman was the Revd William Alnwick, the Incumbent of Mallerstang.  (You will see that most of the business was concerned with the various Mallerstang charities, although the last item on the agenda was "the flooding of the churchyard" - a topic which has unfortunately recurred on many occasions over the 110 years since then)! 

As stated in the first line, this was the first Meeting to be held in the (then new) "Board School".
