I won't bore you with many details... I'll just say that in an earlier incarnation, Wyn and I lived in a sensible house in London and had sensible jobs in education... but then we had a holiday in this area, discovered The Dale, and bought a holiday cottage here.

Then, as many other "off-comers" have found, it was only a matter of time before we left home, ran away from our children (Anne, Jeanette & Chris) and came to live permanently in this beautiful place.  

Beware...   if you come to the Dales or Eden Valley for a holiday, ANYTHING can happen!!
